Aeronef

Aeronef

... here's my first scratch build 2.5 hours into it. -minus some drying time. inspired by this blog http://dampfpanzerwagon.blogspot.com/ and making drawings from Tony's drawings of The Japanese Patrol Aeronef Moni.
it's an inch ad a half long more or less. werking off my guesstimate as to how big the minis are.

Very well done, you will know that I prefer (in the main) plastic rather than wood, but I think your Japanese Nef looks very good.

I really must get around to modelling another Jap Nef. Maybe this month.

Thank you for the comments on my Blog.

Thanks Tony,
Yea I would prefer plastic but I used balsa since it was:

cheap
readily available
close to the correct size.
easy to sand into shape.

I've been tring to figure out what window glazing is called in the US.
All my searches just go to UK sites.

uPVA double glazing? Try a double glazing or uPVA cladding listing.

Failing this try a builder - he should be able to point you in the right direction.
